The family of a Senior Secondary School 2 (SSS2), student who was blinded by a deadly slap from her the secretary of her school’s principal, have been thrown into mourning as the young girl is now dead.
Recall that in March, 2015, Pulse reported how the then 14-year-old girl, Iyanuoluwa Dahunsi, a student of Bishop Phillips Academy, Ibadan, Oyo State, lost her right eye after she was slapped by, Funke Fashina, who was the secretary to the principal of the school on Thursday, January 29.
It was gathered then that Fashina had seen Dahunsi and her colleagues emerging from an unused room within the school and demanded to know what they were doing there and while they were, Fashina reportedly slapped each of the girls while interrogating them.
Due to the slap, Dahunsi’s right eye developed a problem that caused doctors at the University College Hospital, Ibadan (UCH) to recommend surgery.
It was already too late because the eyeball of the affected eye is almost dropping out of the sockets.
But now, the girl has been reported dead due to complications resulting from that deadly slap.
